A Review Of The Silhouette Life Inspiration Box

I'm sure by now you've heard of the Silhouette Life Inspiration Box, am I right? I recently partnered with Becky (the creator) by designing a few files to go along with the December box. She was generous enough to send me the box in return, so of course, I wanted to review it for you all!

What exactly is the Silhouette Life Inspiration Box and how does it work?

It's basically a monthly subscription box full of samples from a variety of companies. The box will be shipped directly to your door steps each month and the best part? You never know what you're gonna get! You guys, I seriously felt like a kid on Christmas morning digging into my box! What is better than a box full of Silhouette goodies? Uh, nothing!

What will be included in the box each month?

Each box that you receive will arrive jam-packed with different samples and products. You will receive at least $70 worth of products (the monthly subscription fee that you pay is only $34.99 plus $5 shipping within the US) pretty awesome deal, right? You can find more information straight from their FAQ page here.

Oh, and I forgot to mention my favorite part! As a bonus, you'll receive step-by-step inspirational tutorials on how to put those awesome goodies to use!

First, can we just take a moment to appreciate how fabulous this box is? Is it just me, or does receiving packages in cute boxes automatically make your day better? Pink and Chevron? Yes, please.
The contents within the package arrived very neat and in order. Not a single thing out of place.

Now, onto the good stuff! Let's take a peek at all of the goodies that were included!

    • An exclusive design bundle by me! (Ready, Set, Silhouette!)
    • Throw Pillow Cover
    • Silver Confetti HTV
    • Decorative Silver Door Key
    • Wood Door Hanger Cutout
    • Damask Pattern Ribbon
    • 2 oz. Acrylic Paint & Brush
    • Silhouette Stippling & Etching Blade
    • Adjustable Bangle Bracelet
    • Silver Disk and Jump Ring
    • Snowman Treat Bag

    • Printable Transparency Sheets (x2)
    • Extra Fine Glitter

I have to say that I am overall impressed with the December box. Combining the contents within the box and the online tutorials, it's almost like a virtual workshop and I love the convenience! No more running to Michael's in a panic because you forgot something. Everything that you need is included! It's great for newbies and for those who are experienced with the Silhouette Cameo. How to use Mockup Images

Happy (almost) Friday, everyone! In this blog I plan to share (and hopefully answer) a lot of the questions I receive daily regarding the use of mockup images. Mockup images are a great way to boost your sales because it gives your customers a presentation of what your designs will look like. A bonus? You don't have to use any of your supplies! I have several mockup images available for purchase in my Etsy shop, but I find that a lot of you are puzzled on how to actually use these. So, I put together a video tutorial that shows you exactly how to use these using a free website called PicMonkey. I use the exact images from my Etsy shop (You can find them here) Here you go.. I hope you find it helpful!

Glam up your Silhouette Cameo! Free SVG Files

Since this is the first blog, lets go ahead and get the most important points out of the way and then we'll get to the good stuff!

What is Ready, Set, Silhouette (RSS)?
I'm glad you asked! RSS is basically a creative outlet for me. I plan on sharing a variety of DIY projects, ideas, and wait for it.. lots of SVG Freebies! I feel that this is an excellent way to grow my business, but not only that. Blogging has always been an interest of mine and I'm glad to say I'm finally making it happen.

Obviously, you cannot publish a first post without a freebie.. duh! I figured we could start out with something simple. Since we all spend more time with our Silhouette Cameo than we do our hubby's on most days (haha) we have to make that thing as easy on the eyes as they are!

Here are some free SVG files and some photos for inspiration. Feel free to use for both personal and commercial purposes. Please do not resell the actual file itself in any way, shape, or form.
